By Sharn Sterling | June 7, 2020 at 9:30 AM CDT Lake Charles, LA. - As Massage therapists, we are meeting the challenges of COVID-19. Safe Protocols are now in place.
With stress, anxiety, and depression being so high during COVID-19, I was taken back on the number of calls we received and continue to get during the quarantine. Many are wanting to get a massage more than ever - so the question is, how will we keep each other safe during your time with us?
At 1 Massage @ aTime, LLC in Lake Charles, I am taking the necessary precautions to keep clients safe while continuing to provide quality, professional care.
“I wear a mask, and I require all clients now to walk in with a mask on." Until we are in a better space moving forward.
Clients are also asked to wait in their cars until their treatment rooms are ready and will have their temperatures taken before being seen.
With our new protocols, I have decided we are not taking walk-ins. We are by appointment only. This will allow adequate time to disinfect, clean, and sanitize all areas before the next client is scheduled. Initially, we are taking fewer clients and everyone will be updating their intake information with questions and education about their health as it pertains to
So, it will be a little difficult for everyone trying to maneuver our way through this and try and keep everybody safe.” I am grateful to be providing massage therapy and spa treatments, especially during these stressful times.
